One of the things I love most about the SCA is the singing and music. Bardic Circles, where people who want to share songs and stories gather in the evening, are the most fun ever.
The Shire of Endewearde, which shall always have a place in my heart, has a very talented group of singers called the Leafy Greens & Mutton. One of the other ladies in the group has recorded them singing and posted the videos on YouTube. I've borrowed a few of these videos to entertain you here.
Savage Daughter
Twa Corbies
Three Ravens
Song of Endewearde
Lifeblood (Viking song)
Song of the Shieldwall (Saxon Song)
O Occhi Manza Mia
Hey Downe Downe
Hey Ho Nobody Home/Rose Rose/Ah Poor Bird quodlibet
Northern Lasses Lamentation
Just before we moved away from Endewearde, we attended one last Revel with these wonderful people. At this Revel, they sang a song in farewell and presented us with gold-edged crystal goblets. It almost broke my heart to leave these warm and loving gentles! Presented for your enjoyment, here is the farewell song (If you look, you'll see me, in a white skirt, and John standing next to me in black).
